About Me

San Antonio, Texas, United States
The Ancira Auto Group in San Antonio, Texas is seen by most as a dealership, a business enterprise.... Yet when you get to know the people that work there, you soon see that the 14 Ancira Auto Group dealerships are communities of people who are committed to their customers and believe in the products and services they provide. With so much happening online that involves consumer uploaded content and various social networks, the employees of the Ancira Auto Group wanted to create an open online community and social network for Ancira customers, employees, suppliers and people who work for our partners at Ford, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Nissan, Kia, Mercury, Pontiac, Buick, GMC, Smart, Volkswagen and our Recreational Vehicle (RV) manufacturers to share their experiences, collective wisdom, insights and information about how to better enjoy the ownership of the cars, trucks, SUVs and RVs that Ancira Auto Group dealerships sell and service...

Creative Decorations for the Wedding Getaway Car!

His and Her Wedding Getaway Cars

June is the month of weddings, so here are some ideas and tools for decorating the bride and groom’s wedding getaway car – without doing any permanent damage to the car or your friendship with the bride and groom!
White glass markers. These markers (which can be removed with soap and water) are like small brushes that allow the user to write out slogans and draw pictures on the glass of any car.

A Corsage for the Getaway Car Door Handle
Silk, Plastic or Fresh Flowers: Depending on your budget and your taste, decorating the inside and outside of the wedding getaway car with these is fun and easy. Just make sure your happy couple doesn’t have allergies, if you go the fresh flower route.

“Just Married” Temporary License Plates engraved with the couple’s names and the date of their wedding. If your state does not allow anything but the license plate on the front and back of the car, you can prop up this temporary license plate on the back seat or adhere it to the side of the car. Just don’t block the driver’s 360 degree view of the road.

Computer Generated Home Made Paper Banners – Secured with clear, easy to remove tape, so they don’t blow off and cause an accident by blinding the car behind the newlyweds. Use your imagination here and keep the theme in tune with the theme of the wedding.
Soft, Light-weight Toys that can be securely taped to the outside of the car, or placed in the back seat. Teddy bears, bunny rabbits – each with a humorous or tender message tied to it.

Big Paper Cutouts of Hearts securely taped to the trunk.

And, there’s that old standby – beer cans and balloons tied to the car with strings.

Of course, when your getaway car is a truck, you can be very creative:

A unique wedding getaway vehicle, decorated with flair..... and it could be used to haul away all the wedding presents too!

I’m challenging everyone who reads this blog to come up with something unique, and share it with us in the comments.
